Overview
Sai Baba attained Mahasamadhi on Vijayadashami. To be more exact - Tuesday, October 15, 1918 (Ashwin Shuddha Dashami), at exactly 2:30 PM. Since Baba took Mahasamadhi on Dasara, the "Sai Baba Mahasamadhi Festival" is celebrated every year on Vijayadashami with great grandeur and spiritual devotion at Shirdi and in Baba temples across the world. Before leaving his physical body, Baba comforted his devotees with an unwavering assurance: "Even if I am not physically visible to your eyes, my Samadhi will speak to you; I will never forsake those who place their trust and faith in me." True to his promise, Baba continues to stand by millions of devotees today, answering every call from his sacred Samadhi.పర్వదినాన షిర్డీతో పాటు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న సాయి ఆలయాలలో "సాయిబాబా మహాసమాధి ఉత్సవాలు వైభవంగా, ఆధ్యాత్మిక నిష్ఠతో నిర్వహిస్తారు. "నేను భౌతికంగా మీ కంటికి కనిపించకపోయినా, నా సమాధి మీతో మాట్లాడతుంది; నన్ను నమ్మి ఆశ్రయించిన భక్తులను నేను ఎప్పటికీ చేయి విడువను" అని మాట ఇచ్చారు. ఆయన చెప్పినట్లే, ఇప్పటికీ రూపాంతరం చెందిన తన దివ్య శక్తులతో కోట్లాది మంది భక్తులకు బాబా అండగా నిలుస్తూనే ఉన్నారు.

Chelluru Datta Sai Mandir – Dasara Celebrations We grandly celebrate the auspicious festival of Dasara every year at Chelluru Datta Sai Mandir, an abode of peace and devotional ecstasy. On that sacred day, early in the morning, Kakad Aarti is offered to Baba, followed by a holy bath (Mangala Snanam) with fragrant sandalwood paste. Baba is then beautifully adorned with ornaments of love and flowers. During the sacred bath, all devotees are permitted to personally perform Mangala Snanam to the processional deity (Utsava Vigraha) with their own hands. Starting early at dawn, devotees with spiritual devotion begin reading the Baba Satcharitra one after another, continuously completing the reading throughout the day. From 10:00 AM onwards, the distribution of sacred Anna Prasadam begins for all visiting devotees. Later, from 3:00 PM, a soul-stirring one-hour session of Baba's Divine Namasmarana (chanting of His holy name) takes place. Following the chanting, all devotees come together with utmost devotion and joy to carry out Baba's grand Pallaki Utsavam (Palanquin Procession).చెల్లూరు దత్తసాయి మందిరం – దసరా మహోత్సవం ప్రశాంతతకు, భక్తి పారవశ్యానికి నిలయమైన చెల్లూరు దత్తసాయి మందిరంలో ప్రతి సంవత్సరం దసరా పర్వదినాన్ని ఎంతో వైభవంగా నిర్వహిస్తాము. ఆ పవిత్రమైన రోజున తెల్లవారుజామునే బాబాకు కాకడ హారతి సమర్పించి, సుగంధ గంధంతో మంగళ స్నానం చేయించిన అనంతరం బాబావారిని ప్రేమాభరణాలతో, పుష్పాలతో నయనమనోహరంగా అలంకరిస్తారు. బాబాకు మంగళ స్నానం చేయించేటప్పుడు భక్తులందరూ ఉత్సవ విగ్రహానికి తమ చేతులతో స్వయంగా మంగళ స్నానం చేయించవచ్చు. అదే వేకువ జాము నుండి భక్తులందరూ ఒకరి తర్వాత ఒకరు ఆధ్యాత్మిక నిష్ఠతో బాబా సచ్చరిత్ర పారాయణను ప్రారంభించి, అఖండంగా ఆ రోజంతా పూర్తి చేస్తారు. ఉదయం 10:00 గంటల నుండి మందిరానికి విచ్చేసే భక్తులందరికీ పవిత్రమైన అన్నప్రసాద వితరణ ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. అనంతరం మధ్యాహ్నం 3:00 గంటల నుండి ఒక గంట పాటు మంత్రముగ్ధమరిచేలా బాబా దివ్య నామస్మరణ జరుగుతుంది. నామజపం ముగిసిన తర్వాత భక్తులందరూ అత్యంత భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో, ఆనందోత్సాహాల మధ్య బాబావారి పల్లకి ఉత్సవం ఆ వైభవంగా జరిపిస్తారు.
