On June 29, 1997, the divine idol consecration (Vigraha Pratishtha) of Sai Baba was celebrated with great splendor at the Datta Sai Mandiram in Chelluru village, East Godavari district. Since that sacred day of consecration, without a single day's interruption, four daily Aarti services are being offered to Baba with utter devotion and adherence to sacred rituals. 🌸 25th Anniversary Milestone – A New Chapter To mark the wondrous occasion of completing 25 glorious years of the temple, all the devotees collectively came to a sacred realization: "The day Baba stepped foot into Chelluru is indeed Baba's Birthday!" Treating June 29th—the day of idol consecration—as the holy day Baba arrived in Chelluru, the devotees began celebrating it with immense enthusiasm as "Sai Baba's Birthday." Since then, June 29th has transformed into a festival every year in Chelluru. 🎊 June 29th Temple Programs To celebrate the joy of Baba’s advent in their village, the temple conducts special programs • Holy Bath & Divine Decoration (Mangala Snanam & Alankaram): Early in the morning, Baba is given a sacred holy bath (Abhishekam). Following this, Swamy is beautifully adorned with enchanting flowers and fine attire, making His divine form a mesmerizing sight to behold. • Chanting & Name Recitation (Nama Smarana): In the morning or evening, all devotees gather in unison to softly chant the divine name, "Sai Nama Smarana," till their hearts’ content. The entire temple resonates with deep spiritual fervor. • Annaprasadam : After the rituals and offering Naivedyam to Baba, holy Annaprasadam (blessed meal) is served heartily to all visiting devotees and people in need. In this beautiful manner, the celebration of Sai Baba’s birthday every June 29th at the Chelluru Datta Sai Mandir fills every heart with devotion, joy, and a festive spirit.1997 జూన్ 29న తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లా (చెల్లూరు) గ్రామంలో కాంతులు విరజిమ్ముతూ దత్తసాయి మందిరంలో సాయిబాబా దివ్య మూర్తి విగ్రహ ప్రతిష్ఠ అత్యంత వైభవంగా జరిగింది. బాబా విగ్రహ ప్రతిష్ఠ జరిగిన ఆ పవిత్ర దినం నుండి నేటి వరకు, మందిరంలో ఏ ఒక్క రోజు విరామం లేకుండా నిత్యం బాబాకు నాలుగు హారతులు సశాస్త్రీయంగా, భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో సమర్పించబడుతున్నాయి. ​🌸 25 సంవత్సరాల పండగ – నూతన అధ్యాయం ​కాలక్రమేణా మందిరం 25 వసంతాలు (రజతోత్సవం) పూర్తి చేసుకున్న అద్భుత ఘట్టాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని, భక్తులందరూ కలిసి ఒక పవిత్రమైన నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. ​"బాబా చెల్లూరు గ్రామానికి వేంచేసిన రోజే బాబా జన్మదినం!" ​విగ్రహ ప్రతిష్ఠ జరిగిన జూన్ 29వ తేదీని బాబా చెల్లూరు భూమిపై అడుగుపెట్టిన పవిత్ర దినంగా భావిస్తూ, ఆ రోజును "సాయిబాబా జన్మదిన వేడుకగా" అత్యంత ఉత్సాహంగా జరుపుకోవడం ప్రారంభించారు. నాటి నుండి ప్రతి సంవత్సరం జూన్ 29 పండుగలా మారుతోంది. ​🎊 జూన్ 29 మందిరంలో కార్యక్రమాలు : • ​మంగళ స్నానం & దివ్యాలంకరణ: ఉదయాన్నే బాబావారికి మంగళ స్నానం (అభిషేకం) నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం స్వామివారిని కంటికి రెప్పలా, చూసేకొద్దీ చూడాలనిపించేలా మనోహరమైన పూలతో, దివ్యాంబరాలతో అలంకరిస్తారు. • ​నామస్మరణ : ఉదయం లేదా సాయంత్రం సమయంలో భక్తులందరూ ఒకే చోట చేరి దాదాపు రెండు గంటల పాటు శ్రావ్యంగా "సాయి నామస్మరణ" చేస్తారు. మందిర ప్రాంగణమంతా సాయి నామ జపంతో ఆధ్యాత్మిక శోభతో పులకించిపోతుంది. • అన్నప్రసాద వితరణ: పూజా కార్యక్రమాల అనంతరం బాబావారికి నైవేద్యం సమర్పించి, వచ్చిన భక్తులందరికీ కడుపారా బాబా అన్నప్రసాదాన్ని పంపిణీ చేస్తారు. ​ఈ రకంగా జూన్ 29వ తేదీన చెల్లూరు శ్రీ దత్తసాయి మందిరంలో బాబా పుట్టినరోజు వేడుకలు ప్రతి ఒక్కరిలో భక్తి భావాన్ని, ఆధ్యాత్మిక ఆనందాన్ని నింపుతూ పండగ వాతావరణాన్ని తెస్తాయి.
